Treasure Everything We Have Now

by Erwin Tan · 10 comments

Hi guys…

All of you must be wondering what happened to me after I disappeared suddenly without posting here since last october. Now that I’m back.. I shall reveal a little of my case.

I was busy writing a book and had little time to come online actually. Coping with little sleep and nasty stress, nobody can believe my next sentence.

I lost both my grandpas in in 3 weeks.

On the day my paternal grandpa was awarded into hospital for breathing difficulty, we received news about the death of my maternal grandpa(He was on a trip to China to supervise the building of a school for the needy, glad that his last wish came true, the construction of the school was finished but if only he could see it.)

While we were busy with my maternal grandpa’s funeral, my paternal grandpa was fighting bravely for his life in hospital. His sufferings were finally removed after his brave fight for more than 2 weeks.

I miss both my grandpas alot especially my paternal grandpa whom I stayed with. Miss his presence and the times when we enjoyed every live soccer matches on TV. I still couldn’t believe that I lost both of them without saying goodbyes and telling them how much I love and care for them.

13th January-It happen to be my birthday today, but here I am sobbing away while typing this post. If only I could turn back time, I would have spent more time and attention to them.

P.S.
Please treasure whatever you have now so that you won’t feel regretful like what I’m feeling now.

I’m slowly finding motivation and momentum to pick myself up from this tragic, I hope I can gain all your support by posting your comments below.

Thank you so much.

Erwin,

Please accept my deepest condolences for your loss. You are so right, loosing a beloved person or even pet is very very sad and only time will heal the pain somewhat.

I try to treasure my loved ones every day and enjoy the moments spent. I also never fail to tell my nan how much I love her whenever we call each other. She is 91 now and I know that one day she too will have to go, just like all of us.

Please look after yourself and don’t be afraid to cry. It shows that you really care.

Thanks Monika. Great to see you taking time out to write to me from your busy schedule.

Brave men do cry too. They are more sentimental. :???:

Hey Erwin, I’m so sorry… Please accept my condolences.

I missed your blog whilst you were away. What you said at the end, however, really caught my attention.

“I’m slowly finding motivation and momentum to pick myself up from this tragic, I hope I can gain all your support by posting your comments below.”

I have a Grandad who’s very old and I have to admit, I’ve been spending less and less time with him recently. I’ve been making excuses… “I’m too busy with my product launch.” or “I’ll spend more time with you tomorrow”, but it just never happens.

Your post really touched me – Best wishes, Erwin.

Hey Erwin,

You’re right. I’ll get my product launch outta the way (Feb 13th) and then I’ll reprioritise how important the things in my life are. I fear I’ve strayed away from my core values these past 6 months.

As for a blog – he can barely play solitair on his computer. A blog would be a bit “too much”. ;) LOL!

As for life… It’s excellent! But yeah, just super-busy. You gotta hit me up on Skype sometime (superaffiliate). :)
