My advice is to write about whatever is interesting, whatever is relevant, wherever you have a unique insight. This combination builds traffic, but it also builds trust, and trust is a vital biz asset, especially in running your own online biz!

Great article! I'm wondering something though, by reprinting free articles taken from articles directory (say ezinearticles or articlecity or something), this could probably lead to having our blog in the "supplemental results", meaning google doesn't really find it relevant and categorizes it as "duplicate content". It would probably be more beneficial to hire ghost writers instead of reprinting free articles. I usually see free articles more as inspirational, like to get some ideas on what to write about.

Creating your own e-book is definitely an awesome way to make money, say you write 100 pages sell it for something like 30 bucks, and edit your ebook (or write a second one) to make it like a "resume", say 10-15 pages, and give it away for free to your RSS subscribers, that could definitely increase the number of rss feed subscribers, and help get more "authority" when and if it come the time you want to sell text links :)

my 2 cents hehe
Excellent post by the way!
