thanks for the link to your Blog via Twitter. Great post. Dugg it up as well.

Hope all things nocturnal have settled down for you. I've moved and hidden my mobile phone in my sleep, in a different room. Couldn't find it at all. Had to ring it from my land line. Strange!

As I sit here yawning, trying to get myself awake after my post-dinner nap, I must agree with you.

As a person who works from home, I am faced with thousands of distractions and interruptions throughout the day - so look forward to the night hours to work when all is mostly quiet. (The dogs do demand a run outside every couple of hours.)

I can easily forget to watch the clock and find myself totally focused on a copywriting project at 2 a.m.

And that would be OK - except clients expect to be able to reach me during normal "office hours." That means I need to be awake and functioning by 9 a.m. Worse - some clients are on the East Coast, and they forget when they call me at 9 a.m. that it's really 6 in the morning here. No, I don't get up and answer the phone at that hour, but it does disturb my sleep!

What is the answer? More afternoon naps, perhaps!

Yes, the thing for me is that once I started an interesting task, I would want to keep my motivations and energy instead of waking up the next day and feel lazy to continue my unfinished task from the previous night :)
