A 365 Days Job

A 365 days job without rest? Erwin, you must be kidding me.

Yeah.. A 365 days job indeed but with rest and lots of rest actually. This job is no other than “Blogging”.

Anyone disagree with me on that? Well.. What do we need to blog? Let’s leave out the physical items, which left us with Time, Patience and Mind.

These 3 are the greatest problems most of the bloggers might saying they are facing. It can be true with that statement but if anyone is to ask me what is biggest problem is, it would be coming up with good & catchy titles and to ensure every readers come in and read them rather than wondering off to other sites.

That will really waste all the efforts.

Now.. Back to the main topic. This 365 days job isn’t that difficult after right? There has been a huge increase of blogs every year and it’s great to see people start to realise anyone can make good money online.

I will tell you why I chose to take this path too:

  1. Freedom to work from home. (In fact, I blog in cafes while enjoying my tea)
  2. No bosses around to give you orders. (I’m lazy and I simply hate working for others)
  3. More time to walk your dog.
  4. No more waking up early. (Throw away that alarm clock)
  5. I get to interact with my readers and friends all over the world.
  6. No formal wear needed.
  7. It’s like your baby! (You care for him/her and see them grow)
  8. More time to do things which alot people hardly have to time to do.
  9. Interest and passion in it. (If you don’t have either, I urge you to stay with your current job)
  10. Money!! In fact lots of money!! (Efforts and self-discipline is a must!)

Actually I do not look at blogging as a 365 day job.. well, maybe i’m lazy

I always want my blog to work for me instead of the other way round. Generating passive income from the blog even when I’m not posting most of the time is my initial objective :)

Hope that I can achieve that and on par or even do better than Yaro Starak!

The wonderful thing about blogging – it also gives you lots of flexi-time, networking opportunities and interaction with like-minded people.

I’m so excited with the amazing advantages and opportunities that are opening up for bloggers to make money and to get free prospects hunting for what you can offer.

With Web 2.0, bloggers also get more targeted traffic
easily 24/7 and 365 days a year…

Good point about blogging from cafes. If you live with hamper people that don’t understand your work, or your neighbor has a pesky habit to use electric drill, writing posts outside is definitely the best option to choose.

Thanks for the replies guys!

KC, we think alike and I’m as lazy as you are.

Richard, there are indeed lots of opportunities in making money online and especially blogging, but it isn’t as easy as what those product selling gurus say.

Florchkh, Yeah.. I can’t stand the noise and disturbance especially my parrot will call out to me whenever I sit down to blog. *There he goes again*
